Crime Thrillers on the Way from Lionsgate

Lionsgate Home Entertainment has two crime thrillers on the way.
Rise of the Footsoldier Part II, the follow-up to 2007’s cult hit Rise of the Footsoldier, arrives on DVD, Digital, and On Demand on Feb. 20, at a suggested retail price of $19.98.
A month later, on March 20, Lionsgate will release Small Town Crime on Blu-ray Disc ($21.99), DVD ($19.98) and Digital. The film is already available On Demand.
Rise of the Footsoldier Part II follows football-hooligan-turned-professional-criminal Carlton Leach, who’s still grieving the loss of his friends and is convinced that it’s only a matter of time before he’s next.
He gets back in the crime game, only to be assigned a series of progressively more violent jobs that take a toll on his life and his family.
Rise of the Footsoldier Part II stars Ricci Harnett (28 Days Later, Rise of the Footsoldier), Craig Fairbrass (The Bank Job, Rise of the Footsoldier) and Charlie Heaton (“Stranger Things”).
Small Town Crime stars John Hawkes as a disgraced ex-cop battling the bottle. He discovers the dead body of a young woman and is determined to find the killer in order to redeem himself as a police officer.
Also appearing in the film are Golden Globe nominee Anthony Anderson (2018, Best Television Actor – Musical/Comedy Series, “Blackish”), Clifton Collin Jr., Michael Vartan, Robert Forster and Academy Award winner Octavia Spencer (2011, Best Supporting Actress, The Help).
Small Town Crime was an official selection at the SXSW Film Festival and the BFI London Film Festival.
