

‘Clifford the Big Red Dog’ Bounds to No. 1 on U.K. Home Entertainment Chart

Paramount Home Entertainment’s Clifford the Big Red Dog leaped to a No. 1 debut on the Official Film Chart in the United Kingdom through March 16. The live-action film based on the children’s book series moved atop the weekly retail chart based on digital downloads only.
Steven Spielberg-directed West Side Story (20th Century Studios) danced up five spots to reach a new peak chart position at No. 2, following its release on DVD, Blu-ray Disc and 4K UHD Blu-ray – becoming the highest-selling movie on disc of the week.
Former chart-toppers, Disney’s Encanto (No. 3), Warner’s Dune (No. 4) and MGM/Universal Pictures Home Entertainment’s No Time to Die (No. 5) all dropped a spot, while the previous week’s No. 1 The King’s Man (20th Century Studios) finished five spots down at No. 6.
The rest of the top 10 featured movement from recent favorites Ghostbusters: Afterlife (Sony Pictures Home Entertainment), down one spot to No. 7, Universal’s House of Gucci, which dropped four spots to No. 9, and Sony Pictures’ Venom: Let There Be Carnage, which rounded off at chart at No. 10. Warner/DC’s The Suicide Squad held on at No. 8.
