‘Chicago’ Blu-ray Steelbook Due Feb. 7 for 20th Anniversary

Director Rob Marshall’s musical Chicago, winner of six Academy Awards, including Best Picture, celebrates its 20th anniversary this year with a new limited-edition Blu-ray Steelbook due Feb. 7 from Paramount Home Entertainment.

Originally released on Jan. 24, 2003, the musical was nominated for 13 Academy Awards and won not only Best Picture, but also Best Supporting Actress for Catherine Zeta-Jones, Best Art Direction, Best Costume Design, Best Film Editing and Best Sound.  

An adaptation of the Broadway musical, the film stars Zeta-Jones, Renée Zellweger, Richard Gere, Queen Latifah, John C. Reilly and Christine Baranski. 

In Chicago, two death-row murderesses develop a fierce rivalry while competing for publicity, celebrity and a sleazy lawyer’s attention.
