‘Bloodshot’ Grabs Top Spot on Redbox Charts

Sony Pictures Home Entertainment’s Bloodshot took over the No. 1 spot on Redbox’s kiosk disc rental and On Demand charts the week ended May 10.

Bloodshot stars Vin Diesel as the title character based on the comic book series from Valiant Comics.

Paramount Home Entertainment’s Sonic the Hedgehog slipped to No. 2 on the rental chart and No. 3 on the On Demand chart.

The Redbox disc rental chart tracks DVD and Blu-ray Disc rentals at the company’s more than 40,000 red kiosks. The Redbox On Demand chart tracks digital transactions, including both electronic sellthrough and streaming rentals.

Sony Pictures’ Bad Boys for Life, dropped to No. 3 on the rental chart but stayed No. 2 on the digital chart.

Warner’s newly released Gretel & Hansel debuted at No. 4 on the disc rental chart and No. 5 on the On Demand chart.

Rounding out the top five was the Lionsgate’s faith-based docudrama I Still Believe, at No. 5 on the disc chart and No. 4 on the digital chart.
