Apple TV+ became the first subscription streaming video service to offer global service at launch (11 days ahead of Disney+ on Nov. 1, 2019), and touts itself as premiering more original content and receiving more industry awards faster than any other streaming service since then.

To date, Apple original movies, documentaries and series have earned 323 wins and 1,398 award nominations, including multi-Emmy Award-winning comedy “Ted Lasso” and the previous year’s Oscar Best Picture winner CODA.
